  • How do I create an account with ReClipped?
  • Go to the Sign Up page, either Sign up with Google OR Sign up on ReClipped by providing your Email address, username, Password and display name. An activation link will be sent on your email. Click on the link to verify your account. Now, you can start using ReClipped.

  • Can I sign up/sign in with Google?
  • Yes, on the Login page, you have the option to "Continue with Google"

  • Can I sign up/sign in with Facebook?
  • No, we do not support Facebook sign in at the moment.

  • I forgot my password, how do I reset my password?
  • On the Login page, click on “Forgot Password” link. Provide your email id that you used to register with us. The password reset link will be mailed to you on this email id. Use this link to reset your password.

  • How do I change my password?
  • To change your password, log into your account, go to profile page and click on “Settings” link. On subsequent page, provide your old password and new passwords. Your Password will be changed when you click Save.

  • Is there an Android application for ReClipped?
  • Currently, we are a web-only platform. However, you can access ReClipped from any mobile browser and discover, annotate, save, and share snippets on our platform exactly the way you do on the Desktop Web browser.

    Mobile annotations are supported for YouTube and Vimeo only. Click on CREATE on the topbar and provide the URL of the video to be annotated. On subsequent page, click on the "Create Snippet" button below the video

  • Is there an iOS application for ReClipped?
  • Currently, we are a web only platform. However, you can access ReClipped from any mobile browser and discover, annotate, save, and share snippets on our platform exactly the way you do on the Desktop Web browser.

  • Is ReClipped in BETA at the moment?
  • Yes, the product is in Beta.

  • What is the meaning of “ReClipped is in Beta”?
  • It means that we are continuously refining our product based on feedback from the users. It is advised that you do not use our product for mission critical tasks.

  • Is there a page to report bugs and issues?
  • Currently, you can report bugs on our extension's support page here.

  • I am a video platform owner, can ReClipped be integrated with my platform?
  • Yes, we have designed ReClipped as a plug-n-play offering. If you allow your videos to be shared on other sites, ReClipped can easily work for you. Please contact us to know the immense benefits ReClipped can bring to your platform.

  • Why I cannot like or save snippets?
  • Like and save actions are available to logged in users only.

  • How do I share snippets I find in the feed?
  • In every snippet, there is a “Share” icon at the bottom. Click on share and choose the platform where you want to share the snippet or simply copy the link.

  • Why some snippets are not playing?
  • Snippets are segments created from original videos available on supported platforms. Following can be the reasons for a snippet not playing:
    - The original content owner has disabled “Embedding” of his/her video.
    - The original content owner has deleted his/her video.
    - The source platform is down
    - The source platform has removed the original video
    - The source video is a stream without archival property enabled

  • Which video platforms are supported on ReClipped?
  • Currently, we support clippings from Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Coursera, Khan Academy, edX etc.

  • Can I use ReClipped on live streams?
  • Yes. ReClipped allows you to annotate and clip videos from YouTube Live Streams also.

  • Do you download the videos from other platforms?
  • No, use of ReClipped does not involve downloading or screen-recording for snippet creation and does not involve uploading to share snippets with others.

  • Is there a way to export my annotations?
  • Yes, you can export your and others annotations on a video to Evernote by clicking on the Evernote icon on top of the Sidebar.
